Welcome

Over the past twenty two years the TBP / SWE Career Fair has offered companies from across the country the opportunity to meet hundreds of students, and students the opportunities to discover what professional options are available to them. We hope that you will attend the Career Fair and take advantage of this event to promote your company to some of the best engineers of tomorrow. The Twenty Third Annual University of Michigan Engineering Career Fair, sponsored by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Tau Beta Pi (TBP), the National Engineering Honor Society, will be held on Monday, September 24, 2007 and Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Online registration is recommended. Participation is limited to one day only and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration began on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 and will end Friday, July 27, 2007.

Please make all checks payable to: SWE / TBP Career Fair. If you cancel your registration before July 27, 2007 you will receive a full refund. For cancellations made after July 27, 2007 you will receive a refund for half of the amount owed. There will be no refund for all cancellations made after September 1, 2007. Upon registration, an email confirmation will be sent within 48 Hours.

Each registration fee of $550 will include: one conference-size table, up to two parking passes, continental breakfast for five representatives, and five lunches. Companies are asked to provide their own displays. Each company will be supplied with a 6' by 30" table for a maximum of five representatives each with approximately a 2 foot perimeter around the table to set up. Extra tables may be requested for an additional $75 each and additional lunches are available for an additional $10 each.

Early check-in is highly recommended and available at the receptions on Sunday, September 23, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, September 24, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Early check-in will alleviate parking concerns and will provide your company with pertinent information for the following day in advance. These receptions provide a relaxed atmosphere for students and company representatives to meet. We encourage you and your corporate representatives to attend the receptions the evening before recruiting at the Career Fair.

Students are provided with corporate directories containing each company's name, Career Fair location, website address, majors being sought, regional locations, and positions available. All company information must be received by the July 27, 2007 deadline to guarantee inclusion in the directory.

Sincerely,
Nika Frimenko, SWE Career Fair Chair
Andry Haryanto, TBP Career Fair Chair
